Calling all Newport YFC friends, advisory & ex-members!!👩‍🌾👨‍🌾

We’re looking ahead to future club nights and would love to hear from anyone who might be able to help.
If you run a business (farm, rural enterprise, agri-related or otherwise) and would be happy to host Newport YFC for a visit, or if you’re working in the industry and would be willing to come along to give a short talk to our members, we’d love to hear from you!
Our members are aged 10–28 and are hugely enthusiastic about agriculture, equine and rural careers.

Newport YFC carol singing 🎶🎄

Last week we held our carol singing evening, starting the night kindly hosted by The Holmans! Then we moved to Sambrook church where we were joined by members in the village.

It was a great night which raised £400 for charity!! 🤩 and a great way to get into the Christmas spirit with a brilliant rendition of the 12 days of Christmas and the YFC version of jingle bells 🚜

Our thoughts and prayers are with our fellow Young Farmers in Ashley YFC following this devastating news. Danny was a truly great YFC role model, one of life’s true “nice guys” and despite him being across the border in Staffordshire, we would often see him supporting Newport events. His loss will be felt across the YFC community and beyond.
Our YFC family is always here for a chat and a listening ear should our members need- never suffer in silence. There are also resources available across this festive period from our friends at Shropshire Rural Support so please access them if you are feeling low 🫶🏼
