Today is International Museum Day, and we’re fortunate to be just a short drive from the beautiful Ironbridge Gorge World Heritage Site.

Home to the world’s first iron bridge, built over the River Severn in 1779, Ironbridge is a place where history and engineering come to life. Visitors can stroll across the iconic bridge and discover the fascinating heritage of the area. It's a perfect photo opportunity!

The site’s 10 museums, now cared for by the National Trust, reopen from 20 May, making it the perfect time to plan a stay with us. After a day of exploring everything the area has to offer, return to our lounge bar to relax with a coffee and reflect on your day.

This week is "Mental Health Awareness" week, a good reminder for all of us to slow down and look out for each other.

In our hotel, we meet people from all walks of life, and sometimes a welcoming space, a friendly conversation and a "how are you?" or just a chance to rest and relax can make more of a difference than we realise.

What's new at the bar?

We're excited to introduce our latest beers and ciders, now on tap and ready to enjoy!

If you're staying with us, come and find the bar on the ground floor, just down from reception, and try one for yourself.

Which one will you be tasting first?
