It's our very last day today. It's been an amazing 16 months. A big thank you to all our customers who have made this pub such a success. Huge thanks to all the fabulous bar staff, we really couldn't have asked for more. Hope to see you all today for one final drink. We also wish the new owner all the best and hope they continue to make the oak a successful and much loved pub.

For all who haven't heard. The Oak has finally sold. We hand over on Monday 12th September. We would like to thank everyone who has made our 16 mths here so amazing. From you, the loyal and lovely customers down to our very loyal and brilliantly hard working bar staff. We simply couldn't have done it without you. Thank you, to each and every one of you for having the trust, confidence and loyalty that has made this pub what it is today. We came to an empty pub that was little used and are leaving a much loved local. We wish the new owners all the best and hope the oak continues to prosper under it's new management. We have our leaving do on Saturday 3rd September and are lucky to have the amazing disco Steve seeing us off from 8pm in the bar. 80's/90's. Really hope you can make it.
