Hanley Mill is magical and enchanting, like something imagined in a beautiful fairly tale. Two beautiful 5* cottages await guests, Stable Cottage sleeps 4 and Mill Cottage 2. The cottages have been carefully converted from original buildings and have bee

n individually designed and furnished with bespoke kitchens, comfortable sitting and dining ateas and sumptuous bedrooms, each with its own luxurious bathroom. There are private garden areas with patios, wood-fired hot tubs and barbecues, and Mill Cottage has the added benefit of a rushing waterfall. The grounds include woodland, paddocks and a rambling stream which meanders through the woods to the waterfall and on towards Eastham. The Cottages are open all year round and are perfect for a romantic getaway. The five star accomodation is for adults only, although well behaved dogs are welcome!

✨ Morning at Magical Hanley Mill ✨

A walk around Hanley Mill this morning reminded me just how lucky we are to call this beautiful corner of the Teme Valley home. 💚

The hens were busy on their morning rounds, Bella and Caramac were enjoying breakfast in the barn, the sheep were peacefully grazing beneath the old oak tree, and everywhere I looked the gardens were bursting into life with roses, lupins and wildflowers. 🌹🌸🌿

The sky was dramatic, the air was fresh, and apart from birdsong and the gentle sounds of the countryside, there was complete peace and tranquillity.

Sometimes the magic isn't in grand events or special occasions. Sometimes it's simply taking a moment to wander, breathe deeply, and appreciate nature doing what it does best. ✨

If you're looking for somewhere to switch off, slow down and reconnect with nature, you'll find plenty of magical moments waiting for you here at Hanley Mill. 🏡💚

✨ Hidden amongst the trees, meadows and winding paths of Magical Hanley Mill are some very special residents… ✨

During the strange quiet days of Covid, when the world felt uncertain and isolated, Mike picked up a chainsaw and discovered a talent none of us knew he had. Surrounded by nature, woodland and the peaceful spirit of Hanley Mill, fallen logs slowly began to transform into magical creatures full of character and charm. 🪵✨

From cheeky squirrels and loyal little dogs to woodland guardians and wild horses, each carving has its own personality and story — rustic, imperfect and wonderfully full of soul. They now sit quietly around the grounds waiting to be discovered by guests as they wander through the valley. 🌿

What started as a way to keep busy during difficult times became something unexpectedly joyful and creative… a reminder that even in challenging moments, beauty and imagination can still grow.
