The sweet story behind our five hives of Chew Valley bees.

For more than 25 years, our wonderful team has helped restore 220-acres of former farmland into thriving wildflower and grass meadows - creating the perfect home for our five hives of Chew Valley honeybees, which we welcomed to Calcot a few years ago.

Vital to our ecosystem, they thrive among the wildflowers, pollinating as they go - and each autumn, they give us a little taste of the meadowland in the form of delicious golden honey for our guests to enjoy.
