Our Story
Four Cotswold self-catering holiday cottages surrounding a beautiful Georgian manor house set in 16 acres of lush gardens. These cottages are ideal for a group booking such as a family gathering or a landmark birthday. Upper Court is unique in that in addition to the wonderful lakeside setting, we offer pottery and art workshops to our guests. These are run by Kite Studios and can be arranged according to your wishes, we hold regular free pottery hours on Saturday afternoons for all guests. Just mention that you’re interested in the workshops when you book. If you have young children, you may even get a game of tennis while your little ones are fully occupied with their creative skills.
Upper Court is in the beautiful Cotswold village of Kemerton with a great village pub - The Crown Inn. Kemerton also has it’s own nature reserve with a lake and we are at the foot of Bredon Hill which is wonderful for walks to work off any excesses from your stay! Cheltenham and the bigger Cotswold towns are within easy reach making a shopping trip or day at the races feasible to include in your schedule.
We’re also a lakeside marquee venue for your perfect wedding with the parish church next door. Rooms in the Manor House can be booked for weddings and guests are able to enjoy the beauty of this wonderful spot. www.uppercourt.co.uk
