🚗 Car Parking Update 🚗

We know how frustrating the parking situation at The Swan has been over the last few years, and we really appreciate your patience and understanding.

The good news? We've introduced a brand new customer registration system!

Customers now have two options:

✅ Pay for parking at the machine outside as usual and claim it back at the bar
✅ Enter your vehicle registration on our new customer registration screen at the bar

Whilst the parking system has never been ideal, it has always been necessary due to our close proximity to Thatcham Train Station. However, we're pleased to say we've found a solution that we hope will make visiting us much easier and more welcoming for both our loyal regulars and new customers alike.

Please note: If you are using our car park and are not a customer of The Swan, you will still need to pay using the machine outside. Customers and local patrons simply need to register their vehicle at the bar.

Thank you for your continued support. We look forward to welcoming you soon! 🍻🚗

🎄 THE GIVING TREE IS BACK FOR 2026! 🎄

The Giving Tree has returned to The Swan, Thatcham and we NEED your support!

Pop in and pick up a tag with details of a child you'd like to buy a gift for, or simply choose and donate a gift of your own.

Once again, all donations will be given to The Cowshed, helping local children and families in need this Christmas. For some children, your gift could be the only present they receive on Christmas Day, so your kindness can make a real difference.

🎁 Please return all gifts by 18th December.

Last year, with the support of our friends at The Dragonfly in Basingstoke, we delivered more than three sacks of presents to The Cowshed. It was an incredible achievement, but I believe that, together, we can do even better this year.

Let's make Christmas a little brighter for local children who need it most. ❤️
