What an absolutely fantastic couple of days we have just had ...3 functions in 2 days followed by busy sunday lunch..so just a bit of an update for the diary most weekends are full this next month or 2 and lots of weddings already booked for next year. Also christmas day lunch bookings are filling up very fast so if your interested pop in for a menu it's just £10 per person deposit. We are doing one sitting only so we are not rushing people off their table. (One of the buffets from this weekend that a customer requested)

Another good Sunday lunch here today ..except!..we had a bad review 😕..apparently our fresh veg etc is frozen and smash potato and smells like hospital food. Please please please feel free to ask me for copies of our fresh food supplier that proves we only do fresh. We try as much as we can in all aspects of the menu to make it homecooked. If an item is not fully explained please ask..I.e quarter of roast chicken doesn't have bones!!!!? 🤔 and we would really appreciate if you have any issues that you would speak to a member of staff as we will happily rectify any issues ..it would help massively instead of sticking un necessaries on Google ..local businesses struggle as it is with out un pleasantness ..we will be re wording our menu in the next couple of weeks ..any inspiration or what you would like please pop a message ( negativity hurts but if we dont know we cant rectify) 😀we are easy to speak too and happily accommodate

We've been here 4 months now and we are so grateful to you all for helping bring the Punchbowl back to how it should be, and if you didn't know we have a fabulous function suite that holds 80 people the library that holds 30 people and conservatory that holds 50 people to hire out for any occasion, but! this year is quite full now, with also quite a few weddings booked for next year as well. So get booked in ASAP. Even some people are actually getting married here too ❣️which we feel honoured to be hosting (as well as this years weddings )

We have just re tweaked our menu so if you havent been why not come give us a try 😄

We are looking for an enthusiastic quiz master/mistress 😀 to host a quiz night at the punchbowl as so many people have been asking us to do one. Where ever we have done quiz nights we have always done them for local charities. So if you know of anyone please tag them in this post . We also ask for donations prizes if possible to help fill the fund pot up, it would be very much appreciated. Thank you 😊
