Fran and I would just like to say a huge thank you to everyone who visited us this week.

It’s been absolutely brutal with the weather, creating its fair share of challenges with cellar cooling, testing everyone’s temperament, and even our poor ice machine has been struggling to keep up! 🥵🧊 Throw in a national outage of card machines for good measure.

Hospitality can be tough at the best of times, but throw in 35-degree heat and it takes things to another level.

A massive thank you goes to our wonderful team once again. We genuinely couldn’t be prouder of them. They’ve turned up in unbearable conditions, worked incredibly hard, kept smiling through the heat and gone above and beyond to create some fantastic memories for our guests. Their hard work, resilience and dedication never cease to amaze us, and we’re so grateful for every single one of them. ❤️

It’s been a busy week for us too, with podcasts, visiting Fakenham Academy to try and inspire the next generation, our paella event this weekend, planning the next menu and finalising the last bits for OysterFestival

To everyone who has supported us, visited, and been part of it all this week – thank you. We truly appreciate each and every one of you. ☀️🍻
