🚐 Guest Story Spotlight: David Genner

David and his family visited Melvich Bay Caravan Park during an unforgettable NC500 motorhome adventure, travelling from Loch Ness through Dornoch and Wick before spending two nights with us.

What stood out most to David wasn’t just the spectacular coastal views or the huge beach.

It was the simple pleasures: spotting seals bobbing in the bay, exploring rock pools, watching a sheepdog at work and experiencing the warm welcome from the local community.

His favourite thing about staying at our park?

“Spent 3 nights here and we were lucky enough to have 3 days of sun, facilities were clean and tidy. Views are spectacular and surprisingly the camp site quiet🤫. Everybody passes through Melvich bay heading to Durness or Dunnet head so it’s a proper gem if you want a quiet stay away from all the carnage you see at other camp sites. Would give 10 stars if I could we already can’t wait to go back!!

“We spent a night in this wonderful place: the pitches are very large, level, and stabilized (water and electricity available); there are toilets and showers. The sea view is magnificent. Bob is very friendly and is there if you need anything.”
