Thurso on the north coast gets a mention here for surfing, buts there's good surf also at Torrisdale beach which is right where between the rocks and the sea is! So come and stay and surf away...if the swell is good!

Our first pop up cafe of the year is coming soon....March the 18th and 19th, put it in your diaries and please share! We can't wait to see you all again and to welcome new folk alike. Same time 11 to 4pm. I promise I will get dates on the website soon, but there are lots of dates here on our page. If you know of anywhere it would be good to share this, please let us know. We are incredibly honoured that our Short-haired bumblebee project has been nominated for the Countryfile Wildlife Success of the Year award! This project, based in the South-East, has been recognised for its work with farmers and land-owners increasing floral rich habitat and rare bumblebee numbers. Having bed and breakfast in style here in Java. Delighted to find somewhere that produces a lovely fruit platter for breakfast. We also think fruit is a great way to start the day at our bed and breakfast in scotland. Why not come and give it a try this year?
