Hi, We Are Karmen And Gabor!

We are really looking forward to welcome our guests to Tregortha Bed & Breakfast. Both of us have spent most of our lives in and around hotels and working in customer-focused jobs including several years’ experience on cruise ships with Princess Cruises, a decade in a beautiful, family owned five star hotel, The Goring in London (the only hotel to have been awarded a Royal Warrant for hospitality services in 2013), managing events and conferences and last but not least financial auditing of different hotel brands. ​ We’ve really loved our life in the big city, however after a while we’ve realised that working and live the professional life in London doesn’t give us enough free time for not only each other’s but to enjoy our hobbies and any activities.

​ We started to take long weekends and travel away from the busy town. Six years ago we stayed in our first guesthouse in Cornwall and the idea to run one day our own Bed and Breakfast was planted.

The last two years we started to look for the best location. We have been in many places, each had something to tell, but nothing compare to the feeling when we first arrived to Tregortha! It was love at first sight and we knew we are home here. In January 2018 after many years of planning we finally left behind the “big city life” and started to live our dream!

We have both spent many years in hospitality and are thoroughly enjoying bringing our experiences together to make your stay restful and enjoyable.
