🌊 June on the Kyles... there's nowhere quite like it right now.
Today, 23 of the most beautiful classic yachts ever built are sailing through part of the Kyles of Bute. The Loch Fyne Race starts right off Kames, on our doorstep. What a sight from our terrace! The Richard Mille Fife Regatta is back on their home waters... If you're lucky enough to be here this week, you'll have a grandstand view of one of Scotland's rarest and most beautiful maritime events.
And June isn't finished yet. On 19–20 June, the Argyll Rally takes over the Cowal Peninsula. Closed-road tarmac stages threading through some of the most dramatic scenery in Argyll, with night racing on Friday and a full day of competition on Saturday. Top crews from across the UK descend on these roads every year, and the whole peninsula becomes the stage. It's a free spectator event, and Tighnabruaich sits right in the thick of it... The rally cars pass through the Kames crossroads, and our very own Station Coffee is throwing open its doors for the weekend, with outdoor seating, rally atmosphere, and even their logo on one of the sponsored cars flying past. There's nowhere better to watch it from.😊
