For the 82nd anniversary of D-Day, 100-year-old WW2 veteran Paul Terry travelled to Normandy. Paul was wearing not only his own medals, but those of his twin brother, who is no longer with us and who also served in the Netherlands during the war.

Paul joined other British veterans on Friday to honour those who helped secure freedom in Europe.
The annual pilgrimage was made possible by the Taxi Charity For Military Veterans , a charity the Veterans’ Foundation has proudly supported with grants over the years.

Yesterday, the veterans attended a beautiful service at the Pegasus Museum. Pictured below is Paul outside Café Gondrée by Pegasus Bridge.

A massive well done to Chris Thsl on his summiting of Mt Everest on 29 May after his health took a turn for the worst on his first attempt, but after a bit of RnR he finally done. But as we all know. It’s no mean feat taking on a huge challenge such as Everest. His sherper lost his life on route back down. So our thoughts are with his family
