BASSETTWOOD is a friendly, family run farm in the picturesque village of Tissington in the Heart of the Derbyshire Dales and Peak District. Tissington is close to the market towns of Ashbourne, Bakewell, the popular village of Alstonefield and Dovedale and the Manifold Valley. Tissington is famed for its Hall, the home of the Fitzherbert family and is the regular backdrop for many period dramas an

d films and the village hosts their spectacular well dressings annually in May. Lynn and Gavin welcome you to Bassettwood, enjoy the many walks or the 20 mile long Tissington Trail cycle track. The farmhouse bed and breakfast has two delightful double rooms (one room can be made into a twin or triple room on request) with ensuite facilities. The hearty farmhouse breakfasts are sourced using mainly local products, in particular meat from Tissington’s own butcher.
