Situated in Clayhanger, rural Devon with easy access to Exeter, Exmoor, and the coast, Foxes Larder sleeps 6 in 3 bedrooms with 2 bathrooms on a working farm. With an enclosed garden, we welcome dogs and the cottage has level access in and a ground floor bedroom and shower room so suitable for guests with limited mobility.

There is always plenty to see on our 70 acre farm and 2026 was busy with foals from our Suffolk mares, not forgetting plenty of piglets and lambs throughout the year.. Perhaps you will be lucky and see a birth or two, or maybe you would like to spend some time with our animals, not a problem, just ask! Maybe you would like to hold a piglet or bottle feed a lamb (subject to births) or just feed our free range chickens, ducks or geese. Our animals are all rare breeds and staying with us helps our breeding programmes.

The cottage is all cosy and decorated for our Xmas guests.

We would like to wish all our guests a very Merry Xmas and a Happy New Year.

This year has been very busy and 2026 is filling up very fast, we are fully booked Jan, Feb, only one week in July and August is also fully booked! If you are looking to stay with us again book early to avoid dissapointment.

2025 we were completely booked March-Jan 26! 2026 is filling quickly too!

Foxes Larder is situated on our working farm in rural Mid Devon with easy access to Exeter, Exmoor and the coast. There is plenty to see and do locally, whatever your taste. The cottage is 3 bedrooms with 2 bathroom and is suitable for people with limited mobility with step free access , a bathroom and bedroom on the ground floor. We welcome 3 dogs, more by negotiation.

We hope that we will have plenty of babies for you to see on our working farm, allows being well, with Berkshire piglets, Devon and Cornwall lambs, bottle lambs, Suffolk Horses and a few chicks and ducklings added to the mix!

TO avoid dissapointment and for the best prices please message direct or use the link below(fees are payable then). We ask for £100 deposit and the balance 5 weeks before travel, but hurry we are filling fast.
