The Mitre Inn Witheridge Located in the charming village of Witheridge is The Mitre Inn. We welcome your four legged friends and they can sleep over too.

We are located in the charming village of Witheridge, right in the middle of the famous Two Moors walking route. The Mitre Inn is a converted Georgian coaching house that retains lots of its original features and oozes charm. For those wishing to stay the night we have 6 cosily decorated bedrooms for you to stay, all reasonably priced. To satisfy everyone's taste and palate we have a fantastic menu, featuring local products and flavours all enhanced by our chefs magic touch! We cater for all types, especially vegetarians and vegans. We make mouth watering desserts and our Sunday roasts are legendary. It wouldn't be Devon without a cream tea and you can choose from either a sweet or savoury homemade scone So come down and visit us, where we are sure to make you feel welcome

As the evenings get darker and the coats get thicker, we’ve got a new seasonal menu ready for you.
We’ve kept all your favourite classics (because some things just shouldn’t change!) and our specials will still be on rotation, so there’s always something new to tempt you.
