Apparently, our caravans are nicer than people expect… 😂

We hear “Oh wow, this is lovely!” surprisingly often when showing people around.

So we’ve written a little post about caravans, expectations, and why we replace two every year.

You don't always need to go anywhere to find something spectacular on Mull. One of those “I'm glad I got up early” mornings here at Tobermory Campsite, with our shepherd huts and touring pitches silhouetted against an incredible Isle of Mull sunrise.

Quiet mornings, big skies and mountains in the distance – just another reason we love this little corner of the island.
Who else would happily wake up for a view like this?

POV: You wake up on Mull ☕

Fresh air. Quiet field. Kettle on.
Boots drying. Coffee brewing. No rush.

That’s tent camping here.

While lots of places are moving towards motorhomes, we’re still big believers in tents — it’s how this campsite started, and it still feels like the best way to experience the island.

We’re seeing loads of walkers, cyclists, motorbikers and wildlife lovers just now, all enjoying the slower pace and peaceful setting.

If you fancy swapping busy for calm, we’re just a mile and a half from Tobermory… but it feels a world away 🌿

✨ Coming Soon – Toddy’s Hut ✨

We’re excited to share a first look at Toddy’s Hut, our latest shepherd’s hut available soon at the campsite.

Named after a great friend and neighbour (and a keen mountaineer in his day), this cosy hut is perfect for two friends exploring the island. With twin beds, a wee kitchenette (fridge, microwave, toaster & kettle) and a panel heater, it’s a lovely step up from camping.

It also has the most unusual round window—and some pretty special views across to Ardnamurchan 🌊

We think Toddy will approve 💛
