🐧 A Day with the Puffins on Lunga 🐧

Last week we made our annual trip to the beautiful Treshnish Isles, and once again it reminded us why we keep coming back year after year.

The puffins were everywhere—standing outside their burrows, busy digging, and completely unfazed by visitors. We spent hours watching them and, despite promising ourselves we'd take fewer photos this time, somehow came home with hundreds!

One of the highlights is always Cathedral Rock. Long before you see it, you can hear it. Thousands of guillemots and razorbills crowd the cliffs, creating an incredible wall of sound that has to be experienced to be believed.

We also stopped at Staffa to admire the dramatic basalt columns and listen to the waves echoing through Fingal’s Cave.

If you've ever wondered whether it's worth visiting the same place again and again, our answer is a definite yes. The wildlife, scenery and unforgettable sounds make every trip special.
