Cerinthe Purpurescens a favourite hardy foliage plant, the colours are gorgeous the fresh greens, shades of purple bells and dark purple bracts are divine.
Grown from seed they took a bashing with this years heat, though they are usually good for a bit of heat.
I was keen to nurse them carefully as I'm after a good crop of seeds to build up a nice patch, then I can gift more seeds.

The seeds start a creamy white, when they turn black I nip them off gently, as they ripen in succession.

Luna is doing well, shown here relaxing in a quite spot, mousing..!!
You can see her disdain as I foul her plans of a catch by taking a photo.🤭
She will wait there all day, if she believes a catch is possible.
The other advantage, she believes, is keeping a keen eye above her in the trees where the squirrels reside🫣😆

I'm an Autumn baby, I love this time of year, getting ready to settle for the winter is my relief from the heat of the summer.
Especially this summer, it restricted me, affecting my quality of life 100%.

I totally understand the dark side for some among us, of switching from summer to Autumn.

Taking ages to kit up myself and Luna to walk in the weather can be a bind.🙄
But so often worth it if I drag myself out, aching and sore from inflammation, but breathing the chill air is divine.

But I love a bit of constructive solitude and learning to be a bit still, moving between sitting, is helping me have a little painting and crafting time.

Sundays blessings, another beautiful sunset tonight, October is my favourite month👌

Weekends are busy and fleeting for us, so we fit what we can in.
Saturday is always busier, today we took the time to breathe a little and the hubster walked Luna for me.

As we settle into a new routine without Bain, my thoughts are turning to the fall I had a few weeks ago, whilst busy nursing him.
Continually falling on my right side has caused a few longstanding injuries.
I'm due to see a physio tomorrow.🤞

I'm realising now, I need to go back to the drawing board with my hypermobility and Fybro.
The anti inflammatories were unexpectedly unprescribed, they kept me upright, and if I fell, often, they helped me recover, but were bad for the kidneys.
Going to the docs for each individual issue will drive me slightly potty and use up half the life I have left in me😬

Hypermobility is chronic, connective tissue is present throughout the body, and as we are discovering more about it, I'm determined to find the best way forward to keep me moving and just as important, confident with my movement and manage fatigue.

So private physio and private docs till I can find some improvements.🙏♥️

Beautiful Flowers, what a cheerful sight on a lazy Sunday,

I'm admiring some craft papers while popping them away.
I like to use my own backgrounds for cards, I enjoy the process of painting, but I do have my favourite artists.
Antonis Tzanidakis (Stamperia)is now a favourite artist after I searched for a forest themed elvish element for a special card.
