We are within the Cairngormes National Park (link) where Tomintoul is located on the Glenlivet Crown Estate. Famously known as the highest village in the highlands, it lies at a height of 1170 ft (356m), and proudly claims to be the North East gateway to the park. Putting you on the doorstep of some of the most wonderful scenery and activities that Scotland has to offer!! Argyle Guest House has

a total of 5 B & B rooms offering a variety for almost anyone – Superior rooms – twin rooms as well as double rooms, with contemporary décor and very spacious. Four of the rooms are en-suite and one room has a large private bathroom. We welcome children and there is a cot and high chair available on request. For those of you who have dogs and other pets we welcome them with prior approval. For those that need to tweet or facebook we have FREE WIFI. Steven and Dianne look forward to welcoming you at the charming and delightful Argyle House, guest house and bed and breakfast. An ideal location for touring the area, there's something for everyone ... if you wish to relax and get away from it all this is just the place. For those more energetic amongst you there is:

🍂 A little September update from Spindrift

We’ll be closed from 3rd–11th September, reopening on Saturday 12th September at 10am.

But we’re not exactly putting our feet up… 😊

We’re heading to Birmingham for Autumn Fair, where we’ll be exhibiting our Strings and Dreams collection and introducing our candles to buyers from across the UK — hopefully finding some lovely new shops for them to call home.

And while we’re there, we’ll also be on the other side of the stands, searching for new suppliers, new products and a few special finds to bring back to Spindrift. 👀

When we return, we’ll be moving into our September opening hours:
Open daily from 10am to 4pm

Thank you for such a busy summer in Tomintoul. We’ll see you again on Saturday, the 12th at 10am — hopefully with lots of new ideas for Spindrift! 🍂
