We have cheered on the local sports teams and we have relaxed by the pool back at the villa. 🎄 Did you know there’s actually a place called Christmas, Florida? 🎅🌴
If you’re staying in one of our Debbie’s Villas homes around the Orlando area, why not swap the theme parks for something a little different and take a festive Florida road trip to Christmas, Florida?
📍 Located east of Orlando, Christmas is a small community famous for keeping the festive spirit alive all year round. One of its best-known traditions is the Christmas, Florida Post Office, where visitors can send cards home with a genuine Christmas, FL postmark – a brilliant little souvenir from your Florida holiday! 💌🎄
While you’re there, you can also explore Fort Christmas Historical Park and enjoy the natural side of Florida at the nearby Orlando Wetlands, where you may spot alligators, birds and plenty of other Florida wildlife. 🐊🦅
🚗 Getting there from your Debbie’s Villas home:
Christmas is around 40 miles east of Walt Disney World, so for many guests staying in the main Orlando villa communities it makes an easy day trip. Head east across the Orlando area towards East Colonial Drive / FL-50, which takes you towards Christmas. Exact journey times will depend on where your villa is located, so pop Christmas, Florida into your sat-nav before setting off.
✨ It’s quirky, it’s very Floridian and it makes a fun addition to your holiday – especially if you’re visiting during the festive season!

And this could be a brilliant stop for British holidaymakers. The new 19,000 sq ft store will be packed with affordable fashion, everyday essentials and loads of Disney & Marvel goodies — including Mickey, Minnie & Friends, Toy Story and Spider-Man. 🐭❤️🕷️
