Update POWER RESTORED 🍻

We just want to let everyone know the kitchen will be temporarily shut this evening due to a power cut.

The bar its self will still be serving drinks and pastries.

We’re sorry for any inconvenience, this is completely out of our control ❤️🍻

After a scorching heatwave weekend and some seriously busy shifts, the kitchen lads earned this one.

Hard work done. Aprons off. Straight in the river right outside the Edgcumbe arms in the cool waters of the Tamar

Work hard, cool down harder.

Massive love to the team for grafting through a bumper weekend. Proper crew. Proper summer. Proper pub life.

Work to start dismantling the exclusion zone around Evolution Cove will start from this evening after both the Council and Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service deemed the building safe enough for residents to return.

Our highways team will be on site to begin dismantling the traffic management system as well as remove fencing around the exclusion zone.

As there is a significant amount of fencing around the exclusion zone along with cones, cabling and signals that need to be removed, this is expected to take some time. We are aiming for the zone to be removed by 8am tomorrow morning.
Thanks everyone for bearing with us

What’s on at Edgcumbe this Bank Holiday Weekend? 🍻🌿🎶

There’s plenty happening over at our waterfront country pub this week!

The Green Man Festival returns to Mount Edgcumbe with a fantastic weekend of music, entertainment and family fun, and we’ll be serving our popular carvery all weekend long for anyone looking to refuel after exploring the grounds 🌿

Then on Sunday from 3pm, we’re welcoming The Clay Country Wailers for an afternoon of live music, cold pints and proper country pub atmosphere 🎶🤠

Famous carvery, Green Man Festival, ferry trips via Plymouth Boat Trips and live music…

Sounds like a pretty good Bank Holiday to us.💚

Meet Henry 🐾

Henry’s getting ready for his very first Pets As Therapy visit to a local care home, so before the big day he popped over for a freshen up at our dog wash.

His owner told us all about the amazing work therapy dogs do. Bringing comfort, company and a few wagging tails to people who really need it ❤️

We were genuinely touched hearing about Henry’s journey, so his wash this week was on us.

Good luck on your first visit Henry, we think you’re going to make a lot of people smile 😊

Muddy paws, sandy coats and good dogs always welcome at Plymouth’s secret country pub by the sea.

Ps it’s pirates weekend, hence the wacky outfit dans wearing 😅🏴‍☠️
