Leo’s Letters will be at the Dartmouth Home and Craft Market this coming Saturday (April 18th) in the beautiful Dartmouth Market Square from 9am to 4pm. I will be there with my personalised artwork for children, together with The Wild Woodcarver (aka my husband Steve) who has been busy carving fish and creating homeware items. Welcome to Leo’s Letters, a new business based in beautiful South Devon. My name is Katie and when my little grandson Leo was born I wanted to mark his arrival by creating something uniquely special to him. So I used ink and watercolours to design the three letters of his name. Each letter included an animal whose name began with that letter. I also recorded his full name and birth details.

I enjoyed the whole process of designing the letters so much that I kept painting and, before I knew it, had completed the whole alphabet. That was how Leo’s Letters was born.

These personalised animal alphabet prints would make a perfect gift for a new baby, a Christening present or just a lovely addition to a child’s bedroom.
