We are really chuffed this morning to have had an upgrade from Booking.com on our review score from 9.6 (out of 10) to 9.7 out of 10. Thank you to all our lovely guests who have written such lovely reviews about their stay here at Marmalade.
We have met and also caught up with some great people this season and look forward to seeing you all again next year. From Paul and Suzy

Hi all, we still have a few vacancies during August if you fancy a couple of days in Torquay. Just give us a call on 01803 294362. We have been cleaning carpets in all the guest rooms over the past few days in between guests with our brand new machine. Take care everyone. Suzy and Paul.

Hi everyone. Just to reassure all our guests that are due in very soon that we are not in the area which has been affected by the water bug that is all over the News at the moment. However, as a precaution until it has all been sorted we are offering bottled water to all our guests for drinking. We expect this all to be sorted out very soon and it only affects the Brixham area and part of Paignton (near Broadsands). Look forward to seeing all our guests very soon.

🥳 The team behind organising the English Riviera Airshow have received confirmation that the RAF Red Arrows, RAF Typhoon, and the Battle of Britain Memorial flight teams will be appearing at the two-day event this June.

🤩 Back for the first time since 2019, the RAF Typhoon will roar across the sky on both days, showcasing its pure power and agility.

✈️ To celebrate their 60th display season, the RAF Red Arrows, return with their full nine-ship team. The iconic crimson jets, with their synchronised manoeuvres, will streak across the Bay on Saturday 1 June.

🇬🇧 The Battle of Britain Memorial flight, made up of the Lancaster, Spitfire, and Hurricane will gracefully display together on both days.

UPDATE FROM Marmalade Bed & Breakfast Well, it not only rains but it pours. So last year we replaced the rather gloomy outside sign with a brand new, all singing, all dancing orange sign to advertise our B and B. Everyone said they loved it. So this January, we had high winds and storms in the Bay and oh dear! The sign blew down and crashed to the earth destroying all our hard work!!!! We now are waiting for another new sign to be erected which will be done hopefully in the next couple of weeks. We could have done without this but hey ho. That`s life.
