"We have stayed at this charming home multiple times. We keep coming back because it is so peaceful, comfortable, and ideally situated for a relaxing break in this lovely seaside town. Even the first time we stepped through the door it felt like coming home; a feeling we have had every single time we've arrived since.
The beds are comfortable and everything is clean and fresh, with plenty of towels. There is a well-equipped kitchen, and plenty of space downstairs inside and out, including a pleasant decked area with comfy seating. The off-road parking for a small car is a bonus, but it's also possible to park on the quiet street.
The area is peaceful and quiet, with the house being situated right next to the historic church with its relaxing bells. It's a very short walk to St. Marychurch's pedestrianised main street, which has a variety of small places to eat, a bakery, and the extremely handy Happy Apple store which is open every day for essentials.
Also a short walk away are Babbacombe Model Village, and the Promenade, which has the most amazing views and selection of places to eat. The Babbacombe Cliff Railway takes you down to the family-friendly Oddicombe beach which has a restaurant, and paddleboard and kayak hire. From there it's a pleasant walk at sea level to Babbacombe Beach and the Cary Arms.
Lizzie & Mike are wonderful hosts who have always made us feel very welcome, and we hope to return to our favourite holiday accommodation for as long as we can."
