We were off out last night to a wonderful NCI Charity Gala Dinner but there’s nothing quite like those golden hour moments back at Vomero.

A fabulous new addition to Torquay Harbour, Findlays On The Quay.

Our second visit and we’re already looking forward to going back again!

Our first visit was for a few drinks over their opening weekend, today we headed down for a spontaneous Sunday lunch.

Fabulous roast dinners, followed by a nostalgic ice cream sundae. 😋

The menu offers plenty of choice, the prices are great value for money and the team are super friendly, making the whole experience feel warm and welcoming.

We’ll definitely be adding Findlays On The Quay to our list of restaurant recommendations for our guests at Vomero Holiday Apartments.

If you’re visiting Torquay and looking for great food, friendly hospitality and a lovely spot by the harbour, this is one to try!

Next year, our six apartments will become five as we embark on yet another exciting transformation.

Over the winter months, Roma & Venezia will come together to create Milano, one beautiful downstairs luxury apartment.

Bringing the two apartments together means we can create something bigger, more luxurious and extra special for our guests, while keeping the warmth and character that makes Vomero feel like home.

Roma will be transformed into a luxurious bedroom, complete with new bathroom featuring both bath and walk-in shower.

Double doors will connect the rooms, creating a lovely sense of flow between the two areas.

Venezia will become the heart of Milano, with a stunning new fully fitted kitchen, including a dishwasher and washing machine, alongside a spacious lounge diner with bespoke booth seating.

And one of the best parts… for those who prefer not to tackle Vomero’s stairs, Milano will offer everything on one level, with direct access from the living space onto your own terrace, with our gardens beyond.

Milano is coming in 2027…
