🎬 Lights, Camera, Action at The Imperial Torquay! 🎥✨

Over the last 14 days, we’ve had the pleasure of hosting a large film crew here at The Imperial Torquay for a movie set to premiere in August 2027! 🌟

Our hotel offers an abundance of space and versatility for events of all kinds, and we’re delighted that the crew left us with nothing but compliments. It’s fantastic to add another exciting production to our portfolio, joining the likes of Bergerac Series 2 & 3! 🎬

This time, the excitement was even more personal, as a couple of our team members had the fantastic opportunity to step in front of the camera as extras for the day — an experience they thoroughly enjoyed! 🎭🍿

Are you looking for a unique venue with fantastic space for your next event, production or special occasion? We’d love to hear from you!

🎉 HAPPY RETIREMENT, IAN! 🎉

After an incredible 8 years as a huge part of the Imperial Torquay team, it’s time for Ian to hang up his tools and enjoy a well-deserved retirement! 🥳

Over the years, Ian has worked tirelessly behind the scenes, painting and decorating all 152 bedrooms as well as our 7 conference rooms. His hard work, dedication and attention to detail have helped keep the Imperial looking its best.

But Ian has been so much more than just a fantastic member of our maintenance team. He has never said no when a fellow team member needed a helping hand, always willing to go the extra mile. He has truly been a valued part of the Imperial Torquay family. ❤️

Ian, we’re going to miss your hard work, your help and, most of all, having you as part of our team.

Now it’s time to relax, have fun and enjoy life after all those years of hard work. You’ve certainly earned it! 🍾☀️

Congratulations on your retirement, Ian — we wish you all the happiness in the world! 🥂🎉

From all of us at the Imperial Torquay ❤️
