Another stunning day in The English Riviera. After breakfast and services, we walked up to Thatchers Rock, the views are truely amazing and a liitle Robin even joined us ❤️ Coffee and cake at Meadfoot what more can you ask for.

The 2026 Brixham Pirate Festival will be taking place on the early May Bank Holiday weekend, running from Saturday, May 2nd, to Monday, May 4th, 2026.

The free-to-attend event features live music, historical re-enactments, and themed entertainment on the Brixham Quay in Devon.

Silverlands Guest House is situated on No. 12 bus route which takes you directly to Brixham, so you can just jump on the bus and enjoy a few beers and the entertainment and not have to worry about parking :)

Lovely mothers day spent at Castle Drogo, lunch at the Fingle Bridge Inn and beautiful walks down by the river, even had sunshine!! Well worth a visit if you are visiting the area and lovely countryside walks with fabulous scenery🚶‍➡️
