Wellswood Village itself is just a 5-minute walk, by road or woodland (steps and road option), and is one of the most charming areas of Torquay. Everything you need for day to day living is in Wellswood, including a very good Co-op, restaurant, wine bar, delicatessen, bakery, post office, florist and dog friendly pub - The Kents, is a local's friendly with a sunny beer garden. Beautiful Oddicombe Beach as viewed from the coast path to Babbacombe Beach. You can see here just how close our bottom station is to the sea!

Built in 1926, the Babbacombe Cliff Railway has shuttled hundreds of thousands of holiday makers to and from Oddicombe Beach in over 100 years of service.
We're currently open every day from 9.30am (check website for maintenance closures).
Last car down is at 4.40pm.
Last car up is at 4.45pm
