🎃 Fancy a little Halloween escape by the sea?

There's something rather lovely about Torquay as the evenings draw in. The bay lights up, the coast takes on a different atmosphere, and it's a lovely time of year for a couple of nights away. 🍂

We're looking forward to welcoming guests back to The Cleveland at the end of October, and we'll be sharing a few ideas for a Halloween weekend by the sea very soon.

🍂 A little autumn escape to Torquay?

There's something rather lovely about the coast in October.

The summer crowds have gone, the air feels a little fresher and there's still plenty of time to get out and enjoy the beautiful South Devon coastline.

We've got a few gaps at The Cleveland between 5th and 19th October, before we take a little break ourselves.

Come for a couple of nights, get out and explore the coast, enjoy a leisurely breakfast and, if you fancy it, stay in for dinner with us – our evening meals are available Monday to Saturday.

And for our returning guests, we're offering a complimentary room upgrade when you book directly with us, subject to availability.

If you've been thinking about getting away for a couple of nights, this could be a good excuse. 😊

🎉 13 YEARS AT THE CLEVELAND! 🎉

Today marks 13 years since we took over The Cleveland.

It really is hard to believe it’s been that long!

13 years of welcoming guests, cooking breakfasts, making beds, cleaning bathrooms, doing the washing up, pouring drinks, serving evening meals, answering the phone…😅 and hopefully making lots of people feel relaxed and at home whilst they’ve been staying with us.

We’ve met so many lovely people over the years — from first-time visitors to guests who have returned time and time again and now feel more like friends.

The Cleveland has changed a lot in 13 years, but one thing hasn’t changed: we still genuinely love looking after people and we’re incredibly proud of what The Cleveland has become.

Thank you to everyone who has stayed with us, recommended us, left a review, come back to see us, or simply supported us over the years.

We couldn’t have done it without you.

Here’s to the next chapter! ❤️

🌊 A little slice of seaside heaven in Torquay 🍻

We’re down at Oddicombe Beach today, enjoying the spectacular views across Lyme Bay from Three Degrees West Beach Bar. Even on a cooler day, there’s something wonderfully relaxing about sitting by the sea with a drink in hand and watching the waves roll in.

And it’s not just the views that make this place worth a visit. Great food, good drinks and that unbeatable seaside atmosphere make Three Degrees West a fantastic spot for a leisurely lunch or afternoon drink.
