So we're having one last blast for Summer next week with a manic Bank Holiday weekend before we head into a lovely new shift of decor for Autumn ...don't worry we're not tucking the garden chairs in just yet. Plenty of mileage left in sitting on the patio with a drink after a busy day exploring....enjoy every moment, no rush to get there 🌳🍃🍂🍁

We've gone to great lengths with our design co-ordination...we now have cows at the back of The Old Chapel Stoke Bruerne to match the scorched grass. Beautiful 🐄 🚜

We decided to get a quick bite after turnaround today at the Blackpit Brewery Cafe (delicious)and was reminded to let you know about Flo Wellbeing, Wild Swimming & Spa. Only 20 mins from The Old Chapel Stoke Bruerne well worth building a trip into your stay...go on be more adventurous. 🏊‍♂️

Temperature's dropped so comfortable for getting out and about. Here's one place we take for granted only 15 mins from the bnb, Delapre Abbey and Gardens, open 7 days a week...550 acres of parkland, over 900 years old, house visits and shop (check opening times), the tranquil Walled Garden, lunch or afternoon tea in the Orangery or dining in Hibiscus. A lovely relaxed visit with hardly any effort to get there.

New William Morris Strawberry 🍓 Thief mugs for all the rooms...we love them.. This is what happens when you have a loooong wait between check-ins..you photograph mugs you've just unboxed and washed up because little things matter and guests notice everything. 😄

It's been a wonderful Summer of weddings, walks, and wonderful people. We're not done yet and we're eeking it out for a few more weeks yet. Then we'll bring out the cosy stuff....
