Even when it rains Wales is just so pretty and there's plenty to do in the cabin to stop you ever feeling bored

trying with my phone to catch some of the Perseids meteor shower from our decking last night. Managed to catch one but will be practicing more to try and get better shots tonight .The lack of light pollution around the cabin makes stargazing one of the favourite pastimes here at Gezellig.⭐⭐⭐💫💫💫💫

A great place to visit when staying at the cabin is Corris Craft Centre which is around half an hour's drive away situated in between Dolgellau and Machynlleth .
This wonderful site offers Craft making activities with something for everyone who loves being creative .Get creative and choose from a range of experiences including chocolate making, pottery painting, candle dipping and much more all in one handy site .
For food and drink there is indoor and outdoor seating at the Corris cafe and there is a Welsh Deli there to with lots of reasonably priced and locally sourced foods and drinks .

As the cabin allows upto 2 family pets the Corris Craft Centre is also perfect as dogs are allowed and welcomed at The cafe,deli and many of the workshops themselves to as long as they are kept on leads at all times .The outside seating areas offer perfect spots to sit in the shade with your pooches and watch the world go by .
Or look to the sky's and watch the fly bys of the jets and other aircraft using the well known Mach Loop .
Our father is a keen aviation photographer and has caught these images below at Corris and at Bwlch .

The craft centre is wheelchair accessible with flat walking areas and with disability and baby changing facilities available through the use of a Radar key which if you've forgotten your own can be accessed by key collection from the Corris Cafe .
There is ample parking for free too .

If you enjoy more physical pursuits then there are some wonderful walks all nearby including
1 (Corris),
2. (Cwm Ralltgoed)
3. (Cwm Hengae).

Corris Craft Centre is located at Corris Caverns – one of the best days out in North Wales with award-winning visitor attractions starting here too. King Arthur’s Labyrinth, Corris Mine Explorers and The Welsh Legends Maze all start from here.

We're constantly working on our little slice of heaven to make it feel as much a home away from home for all who stay at the cabin as it is for us .

We've been updating the decor and we are in love ...and yes I'm a little obsessed with highland cows but who isn't ???
We've still got more touches to add inside and out but it's already feeling just like it should and it's name suggests the perfect place to just enjoy being with family and friends .

one of my most loved aspects to where the cabin is the sky. The site doesn't have any light pollution from streetlights so at night it's darker than pitch black the whole sky is lit up with stars. If you love stargazing we have a telescope that you can set up on the decking and look for all the constellations.
