Even after countless posts from BikePark Wales stating that the park is closed until further notice it’s disappointing to read that the Police have had to be informed as people are still ignoring all advice and venturing onto the trails☹️

BikePark Wales have informed the police about sizeable amount of riders flouting park closure, general lockdown advice and also removing barriers.

Just in case some people are not aware BikePark Wales is shut to everyone until further notice due to the Covid19 outbreak!

A REQUEST FOR HELP AND COOPERATION:

A small (but growing) minority continue to ignore the rules and visit BikePark Wales to ride the trails. We would like to remind all riders that BikePark Wales is closed to EVERYONE. The country is now in lockdown and the park is closed, we all have our part to play in reducing cases of Covid-19 to protect the NHS and save lives. We do not have the first responder cover on site that we do when we are operational and any accident on our trails could lead to a lengthy and difficult extraction of an injured rider, this just isn't acceptable in the current circumstances.

We have closed our business, which like so many other small businesses puts us in an incredibly difficult situation. Funding 24 hours security to patrol the trails to prevent damage (riders have removed barriers and ridden sections of unfinished trail causing damage) only makes things harder and when we do eventually re-open our trail crew already have enough work to do without having to repair damage from illegal riding.

99% of people are doing the right thing, we just ask that the 1% that are ignoring the rules stop and think of the consequences of their actions.

BikePark Wales is a pay to ride venue, we are closed and riding the trails now is trespassing. Please don't force us to take further action.

To the 99%, thank you, we will get through this together. To the 1%, we just ask you to play by the rules, let's all be part of the solution rather than the problem.

Hi all,

As per the Government instructions we have shut down all our apartment accommodation until further notice.

We completely understand this decision and fully support it as the health and well being of our staff and guests is of the utmost importance.

We are a small family run business and just want to say a massive thank you to all our guests who have supported our local business up to this point, we appreciate every single one of you. Hopefully we can continue to offer our accommodation to you all when the current situation gets back to normal👍

BikePark Wales is now fully shut down until further notice, Sad but necessary☹️

Yet another Covid-19 update..

Following the Prime Minister's announcement today (20/03/20) to tighten restrictions on leisure and hospitality businesses we will be closing the bike park in full until further notice. It is with a heavy heart we do this, but as we have said before we must all play our part. Apologies to those planning to visit this weekend.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for the surge of kind words and support that has flooded in after yestrday's post, it's a huge morale booster and we really appreciate it. We also want to say thanks to the team here at the park, everyone has stepped up to this challenge with courage and a sense of humour and together we will weather this storm, BPW team, we salute you!

We wish everyone the very best over the coming months, we will all face challenges, let's do our very best to help each other, be kind and see if we can make some good of the situation.

We ask that riders do stay away during this shutdown period. All trails will be closed and will have a staff presence on site, we will not always have the qualified first aid presence we maintain for riders, site access will be restricted and extracting an injured rider could be a major resource drain so please be respectful and stay away until we re-open.

In the meantime, we will be keeping you updated via social media, keep in touch and let's ride this out together

Sorry guys BikePark Wales is closed today and Wednesday for some urgent repairs to the entrance!

The park will be back open as normal on Thursday 5/3👍
