ies still have members who worked in the mines. We don't mind guests having daytime visitors, but loud parties and extra overnight guests will incur the wrath of the owner. When not in use by guests Cân Afon is a private family retreat. Please respect the house and its contents, and report any damage, accidental or otherwise immediately. Cân Afon has a fully equipped kitchen; tea towels, washing up liquid and dishwasher liquid are provided. There may be laundry soap powder in the cupboard under the sink but this is not guaranteed. There will be tea and coffee available for your first night/morning; however you will need to provide your own milk and other comestibles. All bedding and towels are provided; there are also older towels available for use if you are likely to use hair dye or spray tan (but please don't!) or if you get back from a walk or ride covered in mud. These towels are all washed properly between bookings, but might look a little grubby simply because they're old and used. Toilet roll is provided, as is hand soap. Shampoo, conditioner and other toiletries, however, are not. There are power points in all bedrooms and shaver points in the bathroom and shower room. There is an iron and ironing board; also a vacuum and house cleaning products. You will need your own padlock for the cycle shed. The storage shed next to it is not for guests' use. There is NEITHER TV nor TV LICENCE at Cân Afon. ANIMALS and SMOKING
We CANNOT accommodate any pet animals. Any guest bringing a pet will be asked to leave, with no refund being offered. We have a ZERO TOLERANCE policy on SMOKING or VAPING anywhere on the premises, including the garden. We cannot accept liability for guests' personal possessions. IMPORTANT SMALL PRINT! Guests are strongly advised to have current holiday/travel insurance before booking. The host cannot be held liable for any losses, financial or otherwise, sustained by guests unless such losses are caused by negligence on the part of the host.
