Went from a beautiful bike ride to a 4 day stay in hospital in seconds! Ankle might be temporarily broken, but the drive isn’t. 21 days down, grinding through recovery, and incredibly thankful to my family unit for backing me up every step of the way⚡🦴 I can’t thank everyone enough for all the positive vibes here too, the advice and silly memes, words of encouragement to keep my spirits up too. 3 weeks until hydrotherapy and I’m ready 💪🏻

“Hi, I’m Kev, founder of Absolute MTB. Cycling has always been a significant part of my life. Growing up, owning a bike wasn’t something I could take for granted, and I often relied on borrowing one from friends. That early experience shaped both my appreciation for the sport and my determination to pursue it. When I was eventually able to invest in my own bike, I discovered that mountain biking offered something truly unique—an unmatched sense of escapism. While I enjoy the adrenaline of downhill trails, it’s the experience of being immersed in the mountains that resonates most. Riding provides clarity, focus, and a powerful way to reset both mentally and physically. Through Absolute MTB, I aim to share that experience with others and bring people along on the journey. “Motion is my only sanctuary from emotion.”

This is what Summer is all about! Our evening rides are the perfect blend of making the most of the weekend and chill après vibes. Our next evening ride is on Friday 26th June, bringing extra summer vibes we're hosting a Backyard BBQ! Another amazing woman joins the ever growing list of awesome ambassadors here . Rhonda has been a close friend and supporter since 2015 😎

Starting out in MTB just 18 years ago and soon qualifying with Cycling UK to become a mountain bike trail guide and getting a job at Bedgebury Forest working for Quench Cycles. No stopping there Rhonda has her own guiding business too called Rhonda’s MTB Guides specialising in confidence and beginner sessions for ladies, and a trail guide for Cuckmere Cycle Company and Marmalade MTB!

Always looking for her next adventure at her favourite Bike Park Wales visiting us least 3 times a year with a bunch of mates and having the best time.

This day 11 years ago we opened! I was 8 and a half weeks pregnant and welcomed our first guests! We were so nervous!! Just over 8 years ago MBUK stayed for “Bike Of The Year” and we had around 30 brand new bikes in Twin Trails it was amazing!!! 😎

We may be small but we are mighty 😎 Thanks everyone who’s chosen to stay, supports us through sharing, all our ambassadors, businesses that have become friends. This community is amazing and I wouldn’t be here without you 😎🙌🏻❤️
