For all our customers concerned regarding the recent reports at Fieldways, we would like to inform you we were given the all clear for the hotel and health club on Tuesday.
After completely air tests, the cause was identified by the Fire Brigade and safely resolved. As a precaution the health club was closed for the remainder of the evening, but re-opened again this morning as normal. The reports of 'fumes' and 'chemical reaction' was caused by unauthorised products/liquids brought in and used in the male sauna. The reaction quickly intensified due to its high heat. Five people were examined, including 1 member of staff, and all were given the all clear shortly after by the paramedics on site at the time of the incident. The service received from the emergency service team was outstanding and would like to thank them for their help.
