Hotel Tresanton Olga Polizzi's hotel on the Cornish Coast Tresanton is a cluster of houses on the edge of St Mawes, one of the prettiest fishing villages in Cornwall.

Originally created as a yachtsmen’s club, in 1997 Olga Polizzi bought Tresanton and spent two years completely redesigning and restoring it. All rooms have stunning views across the sea towards St Anthony’s lighthouse. In addition to 30 rooms the hotel has a restaurant, bar, sitting room, cinema, playroom, children’s garden and a private yacht.

With the summer forecast looking bright this weekend, we are pleased to announce that the Beach Club opens this Saturday for the season. We invite you to join us for lounging, reading, swimming, spritzes and snacks. All welcome.

On Sunday, we will host our first barbecue lunch of the summer. Book a table on the terrace and look forward to a long lingering lunch. Our 2026 Beach Club Supper calendar commences this Thursday, featuring a menu of Roseland fish soup, cod, octopus, prawns, mussels, and focaccia. Tickets are £30 including dessert.

Additionally, our classic Italian yacht, Pinuccia, is available all weekend long for sailing excursions to discover hidden beaches and coves.

They will reflect on how travel has shaped their work and discuss their shared belief that beauty is at the heart of a happy home. The evening will include the opportunity to purchase a signed copy of Beautifully British Interiors the second book from the Sims Hilditch studio. £95 including a welcome drink, canapés, and a three-course dinner.
