We have decided to close the Bed and Breakfast so won’t be reopening in 2024. Thanks to the many customers over almost 30 years. We will miss you. Thanks also for all the good wishes for our ‘retirement’.

Lamorran House Garden has one of Cornwall's best exotic gardens, a subtropical, Italianate inspired paradise on the Roseland peninsula. Open Wed - Fri, but as part of Cornwall Hospice Care Open Gardens events, they will be open on Sunday 18th June from 11am. The St Mawes Ferry operates 3 crossings per hour so there are lots of opportunities to hop over for a visit 🪴

Lovely place to eat or have a coffee break in the beautiful coastal village of Portscatho.

Been a busy day for us here, prepping and getting ready to reopen again tomorrow!

Can’t wait to welcome you all back and for you enjoy some of our old favourite menu items, as well as some new exciting dishes!

Keep an eye out for more info on these dishes and also other changes at the Boathouse!

Open daily, 10am-4pm and some evenings over the Easter holidays (dates to be confirmed)

We are looking forward to catching up with you tomorrow and in the coming weeks!

Amazing news!!!
From Saturday 1st April (no, really!) A Thirstea Box will be BACK at Carne Beach. This’ll be our THIRD season and we cannot wait to release the green machine at Carne Beach!

The trailer will be serving up our amazing espresso, Ice Cream, and of course our amazing homemade cakes and bakes!

We’ll be open daily throughout school holiday weeks and bank holidays, and weekends during term time.

So E X C I T E D!! 🥳 ☕️ 🍦 🍰 🏖️ 🐣 ☀️

Roseland Festival is coming up - 22nd April to May 5th 2023. why not come and stay for a few days and enjoy the events many led by local experts who have lived and worked here for many years?

The subtropical gardens of St Just Church are described by poet John Betjamin as ‘the most beautiful church years in earth’. Gardener Clive Johns will guide you through these glorious gardens and 13th Century church for a serene and genteel afternoon.
The lovely is located right beside the church and we throughly recommend a popping in for breakfast before, or tea and cake afterwards!

Nearest stations to us are St Austell and Truro and there are buses which pass the end of our drive - but evenings and Sundays can be more difficult so maybe hire a car if you're staying for more flexibility
