What a stunning day to walk from the hotel through bluebell woods to Portreath with its harbour and sandy beach and breathtaking views from the cliffs.The circular meandering walk happily filled our morning....no need to get in the car. Fantastic circular walk today from the hotel with extremely low tide at Portreath. We were able to explore around the headland and Gull rock felt so close today. The beach had lots of space and activity. Our return took us through Illogan woods sheltered from the strong easterly winds and a sea of beautiful English bluebells.

The garden is looking good with azalias and rhododendron here. Only 5 weeks from today and we can welcome you here again...

A beautiful morning for St Pirans day. Our walk to Portreath took us through open rural fields with far reaching views. We are so lucky to have this on our doorstep. High tide and sunlight enhances the view of Portreath village and harbour. We are looking forward to seeing our customers old and new from mid may onwards. Keep safe everyone !!!

Here we are again in lockdown 3. We are making the most of a fine winters day to have a walk to Portreath across the top. Within 30 minutes the sea is in view and these views are further up the coast towards Godrevy. Thanks to a friend who was also out today for the great images.
There are so many walks to do from here with plenty of natural landscape to discover and plenty of fresh air!!
We miss our lovely guests and are ready to welcome you all back when it is safe for us all.
