My clients haven’t stayed in my chair for 20+ years because of social media. ❤️

When I started hairdressing, posting on social media wasn’t a thing like it is now.

Over the last few years, I’ve come to realise that one of the biggest reasons my clients keep coming back is the relationship we build while they’re in my chair.

How I make them feel.
How well I understand them.
And how I uncover what they REALLY want, even when they don’t know how to explain it themselves.

Because being technically good at hair is one thing.

But understanding the person sitting in front of you? That’s something else!

We’re always told to build relationships with our clients, but be honest… how many of us have actually been taught HOW?

I truly believe this could be the missing piece for so many hairdressers.

Sometimes the best colour work is also the most natural 🤎

My client didn’t fancy a big change, and that’s always good too.
We did a nice refresh. We added softness, blended the tones, kept it sun-kissed through the ends, and kept the dimension right where it already was.

This is a prime example of less is more! Not every colour or cut has to be dramatic. 😉
