The beautiful Chiddinglye Estate in Mid Sussex offers a magical place for Glamping and exploring nature. With 10 luxurious Glamping Pods, surrounded by 320 acres of land, in the High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB), Chiddinglye offers an experience you won't forget. The Missing Link Brewery is located within the estate and the adjacent Tap Room is open Thursdays through Sundays for

coffee, drinks, snacks and meals. Ross, the (on-site) Ranger offers local nature walks and tree identification workshops. The Garden Army is also based on the estate and produce fresh local produce, as well as running events, volunteering days and activities for school groups, community groups and companies who want to support their employees to volunteer. Simon Summers, the on-site Heritage Blacksmith, runs courses and volunteer action camps held within a real period Iron Age fort settlement situated within Chiddinglye. Chiddinglye is 35 miles from Hyde Park Corner and 20 miles north of Brighton, and a great place to visit.

No plans this weekend? We have pods available for the last weekend before September so why not take the chance to watch the sun go down in a beautiful setting, relax in a wood fired hot tub and enjoy the rhododendrons. (I know they shouldn’t be there but they are so beautiful even if technically an invasive plant!!)

No matter how bad things are looking there is nothing as joyous as a spring day and spotting the first of the bluebells. Soon this will be a blue carpet with swathes of bluebells all around the estate. Spring has really been trying the last couple of weeks, we’ve had some beautiful days and green is slowly returning. I checked in my favourite wild garlic patch today and it’s looking good. Who else is looking forward to the season of pesto and scones, pasta sauces and butters all infused with this beautiful leaf?
Spring is truly the best season here, although I’ll say that about autumn too, the bluebells, the birds, the intensity of the green and feeling of new life.

If you are coming glamping in March check and see if is with us on the Saturday and book a table in the tap room. You could win your food for up to 2 adults and 2 children! That’s two adult burgers and 2 kids burgers and fries or two adult burgers and 2 sides!!
The pods are cosy and have everything you need to just get away with out worrying about packing camping equipment. Be snug as a bug and be in with a chance to win your dinner!!
