❤️ Such a lovely review ❤️
This farm glamping experience is one of those places that stays with you long after you’ve left.
It feels like a mix of peaceful countryside escape and a show starring farm animals, this place is perfect. The Highland cows give you their royal stare, the sheep pretend they’re shy, the pigs wander over like they’re checking you in, and the goats… well, the goats are already lined up waiting for their special snack. They act like tiny furry tax collectors who’ve decided you owe them some food.
There’s loads to do around the farm. You can wander the yard, go fishing, enjoy calm kayaking, or flop into one of the hammocks and instantly forget what day it is. The hammocks are dangerously relaxing — you sit down “just for a minute” and suddenly you’re considering quitting your job to become a full‑time goat feeder.
And then there’s the zip‑line swing over the pond. It looks innocent… until you’re halfway across realising you should’ve held on tighter. If your grip fails, you’re getting a free bath.
The vegetable garden is a proper treat. You can pick your own veg for dinner, which makes BBQ night feel like you’re starring in your own wholesome countryside cooking show. Evenings are perfect: big fires crackling, the cosy tent warming up with the log burner, and the farm settling down… except the goats, who are still convinced you might have one more snack hidden somewhere.
The honesty shop is another gem. You pick what you want, leave your money, and feel like the most trustworthy human alive. All the basics are there — firewood, charcoal, and even sweet treats for when you’ve burned off all your energy feeding goats and dodging pond landings.
Evenings are magic. You can gather with others in the community hut, share stories, or show off your musical talents. If you know good tunes, there’s a guitar and a piano waiting — and if you don’t know good tunes, play anyway. It’s part of the charm.
Kids are sorted too with a play park that keeps them busy while you pretend you’re a relaxed adult who definitely isn’t hiding in a hammock.
Sometimes the electric takes a wee break, but it honestly adds to the adventure. Camping lights are available, and the whole place turns into a cosy rustic wonderland. And if the weather behaves, the night sky is unreal — stars everywhere, the kind of view that makes you stare up like you’ve just discovered the universe.
Every season brings something new. Summer is bright and lively, autumn is warm and golden, and after the rain the walks get muddy — proper muddy — but that just makes everything funnier. You’ll slip, slide, laugh, and pretend you’re filming a nature documentary.
The hosts are incredibly welcoming and make you feel right at home. They’ve created a place full of charm, comfort, and just the right amount of chaos to make it unforgettable.
