Llanfendigaid Choose The Llanfendigaid Estate for your next getaway to Snowdonia National Park in Wales. All properties have been listed as 4 Star or 5 Star by Visit Wales.

The Llanfendigaid Estate has been owned by the Nanney-Wynn family and their forebears since the earliest records began in AD 1241. An estate map from 1780 shows that the original estate stretched along the Welsh coast from Harlech in the north to Aberystwyth in the south. However, since the collapse of many of the great British estates in the 1920s, Llanfendigaid Estate has gradually reduced in si

ze to a much smaller patch in the Snowdonia National Park on one of the most attractive stretches of the Welsh coastline. We have four exceptional properties available, all of which have recently been listed by CADW as Grade II* which is only given to historic houses of exceptional interest and quality. All properties have shared use of a 28' x 14' indoor heated swimming pool. There is ultra-fast broadband available throughout.

How stunning are these images captured by Stephen Griffiths on the Summer Solstice, 21st June.

Just a short walk from Llanfendigaid Estate, Tywyn Beach put on a spectacular display as the sun dipped below the horizon, painting the sky with incredible colours and reflections.

Moments like these remind us why we love this corner of Mid Wales so much. Whether you’re enjoying an evening stroll along the shore or simply taking in the view, sunsets here never disappoint.

Thank you, Stephen, for capturing the beauty of the longest day of the year so perfectly. ☀️

If you are looking for a truly magical (and wonderfully unique) day trip while staying with us on the coast, you need to head just down the road to the coastal village of Llwyngwril here in Gwynedd.
Every summer, this lovely neighbouring village undergoes a spectacular transformation. The local "Yarn Bombers" decorate the entire area with incredibly detailed, hand-knitted and crocheted creations—and their spectacular woollen dragons are a must-see.
From dragons wrapped around bridge railings to hidden details on postboxes, it is an absolute joy to walk through and spot them all. It is the perfect family-friendly morning out or a lovely stop-off on your way down to the beach.
Have you ever visited Llwyngwril to see the yarn bombing? Let us know your favourite display in the comments!

The Main House at Llanfendigaid has been standing for centuries, and while it certainly has all the grandeur of a historic Welsh estate, our favorite thing about it is how quickly it feels like home. The moment you step through the door, the formal edges melt away.
We designed the space to be a true sanctuary for gathering. Whether you are bringing together generations of family for a milestone celebration, hosting a corporate retreat to inspire your team, or creating a peaceful space for a wellness getaway, the house effortlessly adapts to your story.
When you stay here, the estate is yours to experience. You can spend your mornings swimming in the indoor heated pool, afternoons exploring the expansive grounds, and evenings unwinding by a roaring open fire as the sun sets over the coast.
For those looking to explore, we are tucked right between the beaches of Barmouth and Aberdovey, with the wild beauty of Eryri National Park right on our doorstep. And if you are a fan of the game, you will find some of the finest championship links golf courses in Wales just a short drive away.
We would love to host your next big gathering. Visit the link in our bio to view our current availability, or send us a message to start planning your stay.
