Half term holidays are upon us and a perfectly timed heatwave to boot!

If you are a terrible planner and are still looking for something fun to do with the kids, then look no further. We still have a few camping spaces Monday to Thursday nights to book.

We also now have Bluebell Shepherds Hut (interior pictured below) available on Friday 29th for one lucky family to finish half term. This is our most comfortable option with ensuite toilet, running water, power and space for a family of 5.

For all those campers already booked in for this bank holiday weekend and half term week, we are really looking forward to seeing you all in the sun. The ice machine is ready and waiting.

It’s World Bee 🐝 day! Let’s celebrate bees together…

One of Wowo’s owners is called Bea, and she loves bees! You might spot her holding one of her many bee themed mugs! ☕️

Did you know - we have bee hives here at Wowo, run by - and you can buy Wowo Bee honey in our campsite shop! You don’t get more local than that 🥰

☘️ We have planted lots of clover rich grassland in the camping fields with bees in mind, and we leave wild flower and grass strips all around the campsite for extra bee foraging and wild life habitats - the bees need all the help they can get, so we want to give them every helping hand. If you are lucky, you might even find a four leaf clover nestled next to your camp ✨

Well now… ✨ our resident fairy - Rainbow Sparkle Pants has just fluttered in with the most delightful news! 🧚‍♀️

It seems her magical mischief, shimmering sparkles, and fairy giggles have earned her a truly glowing review — and she is absolutely tickled pink (and a little bit twinkly) about it! 💖✨

There is nothing she loves more than sharing her magic with all the wonderful children she meets at Wowo… every smile, every giggle, and every wide-eyed moment is a sprinkle of joy in her fairy heart. 🌈 ✨

We are always looking for ways to improve the campsite, so this year we are making a major change at the request of our guests.

From the 30th April at 2.36pm we will no longer be allowing any dogs onsite. Going forward cats will be allowed onsite with guests. They will need to be kept on leads and can be walked in the now renamed 'Cat & other pets walking area'.

Tortoises, rabbits, snakes, ferrets would all be welcome, so long as they can be kept on a lead and you have an appropriate shaped poo bag.

For those campers who have already booked in with a dog on the booking, please just let us know which other pet you would like to swap the credit to.

We are looking forward to seeing everyone this season and enjoying the new variety out on site.

INTERNATIONAL FOREST DAY 🌳

Did you know …Forests play a critical role in combating climate change?

We planted 50,000 trees at Wowo in 2025-26 as part of a grant from the Forestry Commission and as part of our commitment to sustainability 🌲 ✨

We are very proud of this achievement and it’s one of the largest new plantings in the south of England for some time!

Our campers love our established woodland as much as we do. We hope to encourage and nurture this love of all things green in all our visitors … so as it is International Forests Day - why not head out to your local woodland/forest and enjoy a walk in one of natures greatest feats!

🌞🌞🌞🌞🌞🌞 Wowo is now solar powered 🌞🌞🌞🌞🌞🌞

This project has been on the back burner for a long time but finally came to fruition this season. The array will power all of the campsites needs, bringing sunshine straight into the shower blocks & glamping options.

Fingers crossed for a summer filled with sunshine to keep everyone happy 🌞🌞🌞🌞🌞🌞🌞🌞

🌿 Our annual Little Wowos event is now live on our website & ready to book!

👶🏼 This event is for families with children aged 5 and under.

📅 workshops and events scheduled from Monday 8th to Thursday 11th June in the morning.

🤩 For the whole week it only costs £40 per family!

🏕️ Camping or Glamping available at additional costs

We’ve been running Little Wowos for 8 years now and every year we get such good feedback from all the families that attend. Many families make it their annual trip while their kids are young, and it’s a great space to meet like-minded parents with children in the same stages!

The event does have a maximum capacity, so be sure to book early to reserve your space.
