With two beautiful guest rooms, make Abhaig your comfortable base this year! A Boutique Bed & Breakfast in stunning North Skye with great food and a Big welcome! Our location is special, with uninterrupted views out to Waternish Peninsula and to the Western Isles beyond. We offer two luxurious rooms with all the personal touches included. Abhaig is suitable for couples or the solo traveller (max

4 people). We love to welcome guests to stay in our home, enjoy sharing our love of Skye with people from all over the world. Delicious home made breakfasts are the order of each day here as we love to cook and use fresh local produce where possible. Home baking also available with your all day coffee, tea and chocolate. Please be aware:
1. We have a friendly dog called Archie. We also run a tiny dog boarding business, so can be host to another friendly dog at any time too.

2. The main house bedrooms are upstairs and not en-suite. They do have a private luxury shower room. Not ideal for those with mobility issues.

3. Sorry we are unsuitable for small children. Over 15s are welcome when in a family group (4 max.). Also, no pets (except assistance dogs) are permitted in the guest spaces.

December ~ From 1st ~ 13th inclusive

All stays are minimum 2 nights in the quieter months, November and December include our FREE NIGHT offer (stay 3 pay 2, stay 4 pay 3 etc etc) and we'll see you every morning for a cosy breakfast feast! Book direct.

Picnic platter anyone? No problem. We've loved serving these indoor picnics up this year. So many of our guests have enjoyed eating them!

Can we believe thats September though?! My goodness, just two more very full weeks, then vacation time for us. A good few more platters on order, but then a break before the busy autumn season starts; slowing down a little, the cold months to come and some lovely welcomes here at Abhaig.

Anyone else smelling Autumn in the air? 🍂All our guests departed today, two super couples who shared great conversations over coffees in our wee breakfast room for the last three mornings. The rainy starts meant no one rushed, it was just lovely.

We've got tonight off, a mini reset before the next spell of busy. I know its a school night, but pass me that glass! 😜🍷. Slainte to all our fantastic guests and many more to come.

Cute little plates of balanced & healthy for our fab guests K&T before they made for the 9.50 boat to Harris.

Lucky them, a Scotland staycation, visiting the islands; Skye, Harris AND St.Kilda! Fingers crossed for that one as the conditions need to be right for the crossing🤞.

Anyway, we hope they enjoyed their visit here and to see them again.
