It’s all about the view.

Our MacInnes room was inspired by Jock & Kathy MacInnes, who bought the property in 1952 to open one of the first B&Bs in Ullapool. Opulent decor mingled with stunning uninterrupted views over Loch Broom and The Fannichs, MacInnes is the perfect perch for watching the world go by.

It’s all in the little touches.

Our Telford room is named after one of the world’s most famous engineers, Thomas Telford, who rebuilt the residence where The Dipping Lugger now stands in 1829. With rich colours and bold patterns reflecting the fiery sunsets over the Scoraig Peninsula, Telford offers a perfect blend of comfort and luxury, ideal for a relaxing getaway.

It’s all in the details.

Our Melville room was inspired by the colourful character Robert Melville, who built the original dwelling where The Dipping Lugger now stands. Charming design meets sumptuous surroundings, with a breathtaking view over Loch Broom and The Fannichs. Decidedly a space to while away the time this cosy season.

Tuesdays are prep days here at The Dipping Lugger, with our chefs using the day to put together sauces, garnishes and finishing touches for dishes on our menus for the coming week.
