Enjoy a swim in the Rhidorroch River and find its many hidden spots in the Fairy Wood, remnant of the Caledonian forest 🌳🧚‍♀️

The woodland has been fenced off deer and sheep for 5 years and is busting with natural regeneration. We still carefully graze our organic herd of cattle in it at certain times of year to enhance some habitats and maintain some herbivore presence.

Here is a picture of our cows at the heart of the Glen, deep inside the gorge and the Caledonian forest, where the journey of the Atlantic salmon ends at the bottom of the Smoky falls.

It was an epic adventure to bring them there but once they know how to get somewhere they will go back on their own every year and give you a fright when they appear round the corner, in the middle of nowhere 😊
