Ulverston's about to get very lively this weekend … the Furness Tradition Folk Festival is in town, with music, dancing and the Makers Market filling the streets.

If you fancy a bit of festival buzz by day and total peace and quiet by night, this weekend's a good one to book. You can spend the afternoon soaking up the music in town, then come back to the tent, get the fire going, and listen to something a bit quieter … the birds, maybe a distant tractor.

The Bell Tent is up, and we're nearly ready for our re-opening this weekend.

It's all coming together just in time for the opening weekend and Velo Retro - The Friendly Festival which takes place from 2nd - 4th June.

Retro Rendezvous is a whole weekend of fantastic retro fun and is located in the heart of Ulverston, a wonderful historical market town. Along with the well-known Velo Retro old school cycling events across the Lake District, there is music, dance, clothing, markets, food, drink, vehicles & motorcycles to enjoy.
