🐑 Next week marks the start of the Hill Top Herdwick Farm Tours for 2026

Meet Amy, tenant farmer at Hill Top Farm, and step beyond the gate to discover life on this working homestead that captured the heart of Beatrix Potter and inspired many of her world‑famous tales.

🌄 Guided outdoor tour (approximately 75-minutes) - a brief introduction to the family and life on the farm as a National Trust tenant, then a look at the sheep pens where you'll see a selection of the Hill Top Herdwick flock. From here the tour leisurely meanders up to a scenic viewpoint overlooking the village of Near Sawrey, Hill Top House, Esthwaite Water and the fells beyond.

Great news!! Prom arts back for the summer!

PromArt will be back on the promenade at Grange-Over-Sands on Sunday the 26th April 2026.

Come and see a showcase of work from some of the most talented artisans & crafts people of our region.
