This is a back to nature pop-up site, spread across 50 acres of grassland and charming woodland. 500 yards of lake frontage add to the gorgeous views and make for some amazing sunsets.

The site has been opening for some years as a Scout group destination and now welcomes campers in groups of minimum six people.

Access is easy and the site is signed from the road.

Just opposite the campsite is an interesting English Heritage museum based at a wooden bobbin mill. Also in easy reach down the road is a YMCA camping base where you'll be able to book and enjoy outdoorsy activities and team building exercises.

Pitches are all on grass and just for tent campers. Fires in fire pits (raised off the grass) are also allowed.
