🌳🐾 A LITTLE STORY ABOUT A PLACE CALLED BAWSEY… ❤️
Once upon a time, people used to go for walks simply because they fancied a walk.
They didn’t need 10,000 steps on a watch, a fitness app congratulating them, or a good reason to leave the house.
They just put their shoes on and went.
Some took the children. Some took the dog. Some took their best friend.
And some went alone, because sometimes the nicest company is a little peace and quiet. ❤️
We think the world could do with a little more of that.
Just outside King’s Lynn, there’s a place where the lakes reflect the sky, the trees have been minding their own business for years, and the dogs seem to know something the rest of us have forgotten.
That happiness doesn’t always have to cost a fortune or involve travelling halfway across the country.
Sometimes it’s a woodland path, a beautiful view, a wagging tail and a proper cup of coffee.
And if you’re particularly sensible, it’s followed by a freshly cooked full English breakfast at The Hub Café. 🍳☕
Bring your mum. Bring your dad. Bring the children. Bring someone who could do with cheering up.
Bring that friend you’ve been meaning to catch up with for six months.
Or bring the dog, who frankly thinks you should have left the house an hour ago. 🐶
You don’t have to organise anything complicated.
Just come and enjoy a little Bawsey.
Walk a little. Talk a little. Laugh a little.
And perhaps go home feeling that you’ve had a rather lovely day without doing anything particularly extraordinary.
Because sometimes, those are the best days of all. ❤️
